Gorgeous French Provincial Serpentine Server
There are always items in my inventory that I will wait to be claimed for custom. Often, if a piece is on the larger side, I will wait due to my own personal limited space. I simply don’t have the room to finish a large piece of painted furniture and have it sit waiting to sell. That’s the beauty of custom work, I suppose, knowing that once finished it will be leaving to its forever home. I have been waiting for the perfect customer to claim this french provincial serpentine server for exactly that reason. When she finally did I was ecstatic! It is vintage, solid, with great curves and even better hardware. I couldn’t wait to transform this serpentine server. Just take a look at those legs! Continue reading Gorgeous Serpentine Server

I’ve added decoupage to many of my furniture projects. Check out these 15 furniture makeovers using decoupage.

The piece as a whole is vintage, solid wood (Spanish oak according to the label) and has great details and hardware, not to mention its in really nice shape. Then I remembered seeing what Carrie, a fellow blogger over at Thirty-Eighth Street had done.
