Most Popular Painted Furniture Posts of 2016
The year is just about over and there are new things in store for 2017 that I am very excited about. But to close out the year I was looking around at my blog history and wanted to see which posts were the most popular with those of you who stick around to read my posts. These posts received a lot of love and I want to share to both show appreciation and thanks for the love as well as share in case you missed any of these makeovers.
I confess that I can’t say that I’m surprised at this one. This beauty of a bombe chest was shared and featured on some fantastic blogs like Better After, The Painted Drawer, and Art is Beauty. I am always extremely grateful for these features.
This beauty was saved from an old barn in the Catskills and has been featured on Savvy Southern Style, and Adirondack Girl at Heart.
I completely attribute the popularity of this post to the fact that it was shared by Remodelaholic on their Facebook page. She has a great page full of all sorts of amazing projects.
This project is one of my all time favorites. It received a lot of love from fellow blogs including, but not limited to My Repurposed Life, Designthusiasm and Shabbyfufu.
This antique parlor table has a tremendous story and family history. It originally belonged to my customer’s great grandparents who were married in 1893 in Missouri and then traveled by covered wagon to Indiana, where his great grandfather was the justice of the peace as well as the town Marshall. This table needed a major overhaul. This makeover was featured on Hometalk.
I hope you enjoy this popular painted furniture post and I can’t wait to see what 2017 has in store!
I’ll be sharing this post at these fabulous link parties.

Often vanities and desks can be interchangeable depending on the intended function of the piece. I’ve pulled together a collection of painted desk makeovers. You can click each photo to check out the makeovers of each piece. Continue reading Ten Amazing Vintage Desk Makeovers

Pink & Cream, a Little Girls Dream
During a visit out to my parents house in Long Island, I ran a quick errand with my step dad. While we were out, we made a stop at the local Goodwill. Apparently, he likes thrift shopping too! We scored this adorable vintage french provincial chest. No sooner had I scooped it up did someone else scoop it up for a custom makeover. It’s in great shape, with classic french provincial curves, details, and hardware.
