How to Cook Potato Wedges in an Air Fryer
First, preheat the Foodi air fryer to 390 degrees F and let it heat up for 5 minutes. Press the power button, then select Air Crisp cooking mode, set the temp and the time, and select start.
Next, prepare the potatoes. First, wash them with cold water to remove any excess dirt, then pat them dry with paper towels.
Then mince the garlic, and with a sharp knife and a cutting board, cut the potatoes into long wedges.
In a large bowl, combine the oil and spice blend.
Then add the cut potatoes to the bowl and toss to coat.
How Long to Cook Homemade Potato Wedges in the Air Fryer
For perfectly even crisping, spread the seasoned wedges out in a single layer within the air fryer basket. This allows the hot air to circulate efficiently and cook the wedges evenly.
Once you’ve arranged the wedges in a single layer inside the air fry basket, close the lid and set the cooking time for 20 minutes. Gently shake or toss the wedges halfway through using silicone tongs. Or more often, as needed.
For super crispy wedges add up to another 3-4 minutes in the Ninja Foodi air fryer until the air-fried wedges reach your preferred crispness.
Potato Wedges in the Ninja Air Fryer
When ready, remove the crispy potato wedges from the Ninja Foodi, serve, and enjoy.
Sprinkle your homemade potato wedges with fresh parsley, and serve with your favorite dipping sauce. While we prefer ketchup or ranch dressing, you may enjoy them with sour cream, or chipotle mayo.
