This recipe for crispy air fryer brussels sprouts is as simple as it gets. You will only need fresh brussels sprouts, olive oil, kosher salt, and pepper.

How to Air Fry Brussel Sprouts
First, preheat the air fryer. To do this, close the lid, select Air Crisp, set the temperature to 390 degrees, and the time for 5 minutes. Press start.
While the air fryer preheats, wash and trim the brussel sprouts. Cut off the end, then cut each sprout in half, and remove any loose leaves.

Next, place the prepared sprouts in a large bowl, and add the oil.

Then add the salt and pepper. Toss to coat.

How Long to Cook Brussel Sprouts in an Air Fryer
Next, spray the air fryer basket with a little olive oil spray, and then place the Brussels sprouts into the basket.

Do your best to arrange the baby cabbages in a single layer, to not overcrowd the basket. To cook evenly to a golden brown the air needs to access all sides of the sprouts.
Set the time for 10-12 minutes. Press start.
At the halfway mark, 5-6 minutes, open the lid and toss the brussel sprouts with silicone tongs. Then close the lid for the remainder of the cooking time.

Check on the sprouts after 10-12 total minutes. For extra crispy air fryer brussel sprouts add up to 3 additional minutes. The outer leaves will have a crispy texture, while the centers of the sprouts will be firm yet tender.

- When done remove nad enjoy.
- For extra crispy brussel sprouts, add up to 3 more minutes to the total time.
