Healthy Almond Vanilla Cake Balls Recipe

What You Will Need (Full Printable Recipe Available Below) 

  • 1 cup Oat flour
  • 1/2 cup Almond Meal
  • 1 tsp baking powder 
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup 
  • 1 tsp nunaturals liquid vanilla stevia
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup almond milk (how to make your own)
  • 2 Tbsp coconut milk
  • 1/2 packet stevia
  • 1.5 Tbsp dark chocolate chips or cacao nibs (optional)

How to Make Cake Balls

Homemade cake balls are super easy to make and you don’t need a cake ball maker to make these. These are super easy and one of my all-time favorite healthy snacks.

First, you will need to preheat the oven to 350 degrees and gather your ingredients.

  1. In a large bowl mix the oat flour (1 cup) and almond flour (1/2 cup). Add the baking soda (1 tsp).  cake balls recipe, how to make cake balls, vanilla cake pop recipe
  2. In a smaller bowl, combine the almond butter (1/4 cup) and maple syrup (1/3 cup). Mix these together thoroughly, use a hand mixer if you need to. Then add almond milk (1/4 cup) to the mixture. cake balls recipe, cake balls, cake pops with almond butter, gluten free cake pops
  3. Stir in the vanilla stevia (1 tsp) and vanilla extract (1/4 tp) to this bowl.

  7. Bake your cake balls recipe for 10 minutes, rotate the muffins and then bake for an additional thirteen minutes. 
  8. Remove and let cool in the tin for thirty minutes.

  13. Top each ball with a few mini dark chocolate chips or cacao nibs.
  14. Place the balls into the freezer for sixty minutes to set. When ready to eat, remove the cake balls from the freezer and let thaw 10-20 minutes.
