Of course, this recipe can be made with any pasta, but to keep it gluten-free I love gluten-free brown rice pasta. This is the pasta that I use: brown rice pasta

For the alfredo sauce, again, you can use any kind of alfredo or even homemade alfredo sauce. But if you are looking for a clean dairy-free alfredo sauce without mystery ingredients, then check out my favorite here: alfredo sauce

When it comes to chicken, you have many options. You can use rotisserie chicken, leftover chicken, or even pre-cooked chicken. I tend to prefer boneless skinless chicken breast. You can get your chicken from the local grocery store, or online. I order all of my chicken, pork, bacon, and turkey from small regenerative farmers, and they ship right to your door. Next, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over medium-high heat. Add the pasta, and cook for 6 minutes, aiming for al dente. That is when the pasta is tender but not fully cooked.

Pour the jar of alfredo sauce in with the broccoli, pasta, and chicken. Stir to combine with the creamy sauce. Add salt and black pepper to taste.

Then divide the cooked bacon, and add half of the bacon to the bowl.

Add the cashew milk to the bowl with the pasta and chicken mixture. Cashew milk is a lighter, healthier alternative to heavy cream that would often be used in a recipe like this.
