This strawberry mango pineapple smoothie recipe is one of my most fruity breakfast smoothie recipes. It is made with both fresh and frozen fruit, orange juice, and vanilla protein powder.

Packed with vitamin C and antioxidants, this smoothie is a great way to start your day.

But beyond the health benefits, the combination of mango chunks, fresh strawberries, and frozen pineapple makes this smoothie burst with tropical flavors. Imagine the sweet tang of strawberries, the juicy burst of mango, and the sunshine flavor of pineapple, all blended together into a smooth, refreshing drink. It’s the perfect way to beat the morning heat or add a little island vibe to any day.

Ingredients Tips and Substitutions

This strawberry pineapple mango smoothie recipe is a cold treat made with healthy things like fruit and a simple clean organic protein. The ingredients can easily be altered. If mango, pineapple, and strawberries are in season then you can absolutely use fresh fruit. But when you can’t find fresh, frozen is always a great option. When using frozen fruit you don’t need to add ice cubes, but if using fresh then a few ice cubes are necessary to keep the smoothie cold.

When choosing orange juice make sure to use one without added sugar or extra ingredients. The only ingredient should be the oranges. Personally, I like the ‘no pulp’ kind, but you can go with pulp or pulp-free.

For an extra boost of clean protein, I love this organic vanilla protein powder made with minimal ingredients and no added sugar โ€“ letting the natural sweetness of the fruit shine through. If you don’t mind dairy, then you can opt for Greek yogurt instead.

To make this smoothie, you will need a high-speed blender.

How to Make a Strawberry Mango Pineapple Tropical Smoothie

First, add the orange juice to the blender.

Then add the pineapple chunks.

Add the fresh strawberries, (or frozen strawberries).

Lastly, add the protein powder to the blender. When all of the other ingredients are fruit I do like to add protein (or healthy fats) to the recipe to balance the natural sugar. This helps curb any potential sugar spike and keeps you feeling fuller for longer.

Blend until smooth. Add up to 1/4 cup water if the smoothie is too thick, or if you prefer a thinner smoothie.

This recipe is great when you want something full of fruit juices and without almond milk or coconut milk. It makes an easy breakfast or afternoon snack. It’s also a delicious way to enjoy a healthy treat on hot summer days.
