This mango cherry smoothie recipe is a delicious smoothie made with just 4 ingredients and no added sugar.
A mango pineapple smoothie is one of my favorite breakfast smoothie recipes. It is made with frozen fruit and unsweetened almond milk. It’s a sweet treat that the whole family will love and a great way to get your kids to enjoy something healthy.
Enjoy the perfect harmony of tropical sweetness and tangy allure with a cherry mango smoothie, a vibrant blend that is refreshing and tasty.
Never worry whether or not fresh mango or sweet cherries are in season. Make your cherry mango smoothie with frozen cherries and frozen mango chunks. When you use frozen fruit to make delicious fruit smoothies you eliminate the need for ice. The frozen fruit makes the smoothie nice and cold.
Mango Cherry Smoothie Ingredients
To make this simple smoothie recipe you only need 4 simple ingredients that are easily found in grocery stores
- 1 cup (140 grams) frozen mango chunks
- 1 cup (140 grams) frozen dark sweet cherries
- 1/2 banana
- 1 cup almond milk
- optional – 1 serving vanilla protein powder
Using frozen fruit in homemade smoothies takes the guesswork out of what’s in season and available and what isn’t. I love that the frozen fruit adds a coldness and thickness to make this a delicious creamy smoothie.

Protein powder is optional, and personal preference. I often try different brands to see which I like and don’t like. Lately, I’ve been using this vegan protein powder with minimal ingredients. It’s organic and clean and adds a nice subtle vanilla flavor to your healthy protein smoothie recipes. You can find it online here: vanilla protein powder.
When it comes to almond milk, I prefer plain unsweetened almond milk, but you can use unsweetened vanilla almond milk or even any non-dairy milk of your choice. Cashew milk is an easy swap for almond milk. It is another dairy-free milk option that I use often. This is my favorite almond milk.
You will also need a high speed blender. I have this Vitamix blender, and I love it. It’s available online here: Vitamix Blender. There are also many different blenders available online for different price ranges, and abilities. You can find those here: Blenders.
How to Make a Cherry Mango Fruit Smoothie
First, add the milk to the blender.
Next, add the frozen cherries.
Then add the frozen mango to the blender.
Lastly, add the half of banana to the blender. You may use a frozen banana if you slice and freeze it in advance, otherwise, a ripe banana is perfect. Only use half of the banana. It’s really that easy.
Blend for approximately 30 seconds or until smooth. If the smoothie is too thick you can add up to 1/2 cup of water to the blender
Pour into a glass or mason jar.
