This mango pineapple coconut smoothie is an easy-to-make and full of tropical flavors and healthy fats.
Make your coconut pineapple mango smoothie with either fresh fruit or frozen fruit in a high-speed blender for a sweet treat.
The delicious flavors of this creamy treat will make you think you are on vacation on a tropical island. This easy recipe is great as an afternoon snack on a hot day or a favorite of your breakfast smoothie recipes when on the go.
Pineapple is full of bromelain. Bromelain is known for its anti-inflammatory properties, reducing pain and swelling, and improving digestion. The anti-inflammatory properties of pineapple and the healthy fats of coconut will keep you full while also supporting your body and immune system.
As a bonus, this coconut mango pineapple smoothie recipe is naturally sweetened by tropical fruits requiring no added sugar.
Ingredients to Make a Tropical Mango Pineapple Coconut Smoothie
To make this pineapple coconut mango smoothie recipe you will need just a few simple ingredients:
- 1/2 cup frozen mango (70g)
- 1/2 cup frozen pineapple (70g)
- 1/2 cup plain coconut yogurt
- 1 cup coconut milk
- optional topping – shredded coconut
You absolutely can make this mango pineapple coconut shake with fresh mango and fresh pineapple chunks if they are available and in season. I am making it with frozen fruit because frozen fruit can almost always be found at the grocery store any time of year no matter whether they are in season or not.
If you do use fresh fruit you may need to add a few ice cubes to make this creamy drink cold. whereas with frozen fruit, ice is not necessary.

You will also need a high speed blender. I have this Vitamix blender, and I love it. It’s available online here: Vitamix Blender. There are also many different blenders available online for different price ranges, and abilities. You can find those here: Blenders.
How to Make a Delicious Mango Pineapple Smoothie with Coconut
First, pour the coconut milk into the blender.
I prefer to use a can of coconut milk and measure out one cup over the coconut milk in the refrigerated section. Those can often have added ingredients, but you can use whichever you prefer. This is the canned coconut that I like: coconut milk.
Next, add the frozen mango chunks to the blender.
Then add the frozen pineapple to the blender.
Add the creamy coconut yogurt to the blender and blend for 30 seconds or until smooth.
Top the pineapple mango coconut smoothie with shredded coconut and enjoy.
This blended drink has a thick creamy consistency. If you prefer a less creamy texture you can use half coconut milk and half coconut water to thin it a bit.
