Healthy Roasted Leeks Recipe (Vegan, Paleo, Gluten Free)

  • 6 Leeks
  • 3 Tbsp Olive Oil 
  • 1 Lemon 
  • 1 1/2 tsp fresh chopped thyme
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • Baking Dish

How to Make Simply Roasted Leeks

In case you are unsure roasted leeks and baked leeks are the same thing. So let’s start cooking leeks for a tasty leek side dish to your next meal.

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees and gather your leeks and other ingredients.  how to cook leeks, what to cook with leeks, roasted leeks recipe
  2. Cut the white stems off of the leeks. Then remove any green outer leaves. You really only want mostly the white part of the stem. So, when choosing your leeks for this leeks recipe, make sure to choose leeks that have the long white stems instead of the larger green leaves. 
  3. Slice each leek in half lengthwise, and rinse the leek thoroughly with water to get rid of any dirt held between its leaves.
