Garden Salad Ingredients
Like I said you can use just about any vegetable you want in this garden salad recipe. If there’s something that I include that you don’t like – no worries, don’t add it. This is how I like my garden salad.
Directions: (I use that term loosely)
First I gather my veggies.
Start with your leafy greens like romaine. When I want to mix up my greens my other option is normally baby spinach.
Then grab some colorful peppers.
Chop up those peppers.
As you cut and chop your vegetables go ahead and toss them into a large bowl.
Chop and add some celery.
Tomatoes.ย
Cucumbers.
Continuing to toss each vegetable into the large bowl.
Snap peas. I prefer to trim the ends off of the snap peas.
Zucchini.
White mushrooms.
Into the bowl, it all goes.
Combine Your Salad Ingredients
Once you are happy with all of the salad ingredients that you have added go ahead and toss the ingredients together,
Your fresh garden salad will be full of color and flavor.
Before serving you can also add sliced avocado to your healthy salad.
Depending on your preference you may or may not want to add shredded cheese. I admit that lately, I have been leaving the cheese off of my salads. It’s completely up to you.
Whichever you choose you will have a delicious and easy salad to enjoy. Drizzle a little olive oil and dig in.
