Air Fryer Broccoli and Cauliflower Ingredients
To make this delicious recipe you will need just a few simple ingredients:
- 12oz mix of broccoli florets and cauliflower
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- salt and pepper to taste

How to Air Fry Broccoli and Cauliflower
First, preheat your air fryer to 390 degrees Fahrenheit and allow it to warm up while you prep your fresh vegetables. This normally only takes 3-5 minutes.
While the air fryer preheats trim the ends of the broccoli and cauliflower and cut them into smaller pieces if needed.
Place the broccoli and cauliflower florets into a large bowl and add the olive oil.
Next, add the garlic powder, onion powder, and sea salt. If you are a fan of pepper, add that too. You can easily swap out this simple seasoning blend for your seasoning of choice.
Use a spoon or tongs and toss to coat.
Cooking Broccoli and Cauliflower in the Air Fryer
Place the vegetables in the air fryer basket of your air fryer. Ideally, you want to spread them out in a single layer. If you are unable to do that just make sure to toss it more often during the cooking process.
Keeping the air fryer set to 390 degrees, cook the air fryer cauliflower and broccoli for 5 minutes, then toss or shake and then cook for an additional 5 minutes.
If your vegetables are not in a single layer give it a few more tosses/shakes in between as it cooks to ensure the hot air reaches all sides of the vegetables.
You can add a few additional minutes if you think your air-fried broccoli and cauliflower need more time. The 10 minutes of cooking time results in a nice combination of both crispy and tender vegetables. The broccoli appears to have shrunk a bit.
Serve the air-fried cauliflower and broccoli right away with your favorite protein for a complete meal.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-5 days.
The tender and crisp, but not crunchy veggies are great with our Air Fryer NY strip steak recipe.
