How to Cook Sirloin Steak in Ninja Air Fryer
First, place the air fryer rack into the Ninja Foodi. Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees for 3-5 minutes while you prepare a thawed steak.
Then spray the sirloin steak with a little bit of oil.
Next, sprinkle both sides of the steak with salt.
We like our steak simple, but if you like Montreal steak seasoning, or even a homemade steak seasoning that is ok too. Season the steak with a little bit at this point however you prefer.
How Long To Cook a Sirloin Steak in the Air Fryer
Place the prepared sirloin steak on the air fry rack.
Select the air crisp function, and set the temperature to 375 degrees F. Set the cook time for 14 minutes. At the halfway mark flip the steak over inside the air fryer.
Here is an idea of cook times for cooking sirloin steak in the Ninja Foodi air fryer.
Medium Rare Steak | 12-13 minutes |
Medium Steak | 13-14 minutes |
Medium Well Steak | 14-15 minutes |
Check the steak’s internal temperature, using a meat thermometer at the thickest part of the meat.
I always remove the steak from the air fryer when the internal temperature is around 130 degrees. If you wait until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees, your steak will be well done with little to no pink inside.

- Spray the sirloin steak with a little oil.
- Sprinkle with salt
- Place the steak on the top level of the air fryer rack.
- Set timer for 14 minutes
- At halfway park flip the steak over and finish cooking.
- 14 total minutes will yield a mediu, steak. Adjust the time accordingly for rare, or medium well.
- Different air fryers may yield different results.
