For this warm and comforting detox tea made with apple cider vinegar, the type of vinegar does matter. Make sure to use Braggs, organic unfiltered ACV with the ‘mother’. It’s available online here: Braggs ACV.

To sweeten this apple cider vinegar drink we are using a cinnamon infused maple syrup. Since ground cinnamon is not soluble and does not dissolve in liquid this is a really nice alternative. It adds a light maple sweetness with a hint of cinnamon to the apple cider vinegar drink. You can find it online here: cinnamon maple syrup.

We also always use filtered water. If you are looking for a great quality water filter then check out: Clearly Filtered

What are the Potential Benefits of Drinking Apple Cider Vinegar

The health benefits of apple cider vinegar are endless. And I am always open to natural remedies. Of all of the numerous health benefits, here are just a few examples of what consuming organic unfiltered apple cider vinegar may be able to do for your body and overall health:

  • lower blood sugar levels
  • help with weight loss
  • improve immune system
  • lower cholesterol levels
  • support the digestive system
  • helps relieves allergies
  • improve gut health

Apple cider vinegar is made of about 5-6% acetic acid which can kill harmful bacteria and may have a positive impact on gut health. Acetic acid may damage tooth enamel when not diluted. Diluting the ACV with water is a much better way to drink it, making this a better option than straight apple cider vinegar shots.

Keep in mind, that this is not medical advice and should not be taken as such. Always consult with your doctor before making health decisions or starting a new health routine

How to Make a Apple Cider Vinegar Detox Tea

First, add the lemon juice to a large mug. Then add the apple cider vinegar, and cinnamon maple syrup.

Always opt for freshly squeezed lemon juice over the bottled stuff.

How Does Apple Cider Vinegar with Lemon, and Cinnamon Maple Syrup Taste

This drink is soothing, and light. It is mild, similar to the other apple cider vinegar drinks that I make. Because it is more water than apple cider vinegar, the taste of apple cider vinegar is minimal and the cinnamon maple syrup adds a nice subtle sweet flavor.

Enjoy this apple cider vinegar detox tea in the morning or evening, or any time of day.
