How Does the Ninja Foodi Work
To keep it simple, when making soup in the Ninja Foodi you follow these simple steps:
- first place the soup ingredients into the Ninja Foodi pot
- secure the pressure cooker lid
- move the release valve to the seal position
- select the pressure cooking function
- then set the time
- press start
The Foodi will begin to heat up and come to pressure. Once the Foodi reaches high pressure the timer will count down for the cooking time that you set. This is when the magic happens.
When the soup is finished the Ninja Foodi will automatically begin a slow natural release of pressure. If you are impatient you can usually select quick release for the steam to release faster. You must be careful when doing this. The steam is extremely hot and you don’t want to get burned. Once the pressure is completely released the pressure button will drop and you may remove the pressure lid. It’s that easy.
