How to Make Air Fryer Green Beans in the Ninja Foodi
First, preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees F for a few minutes while you prepare the green beans.
If you are using the bag of prewashed green beans then you don’t have much to do. If not, make sure to wash and trim the ends of the green beans.
Next, transfer the green beans to a large mixing bowl and add the oil. Make sure not to use too much oil.
Then add the garlic powder, salt and pepper.
Use a pair of silicone tongs to toss until the green beans are fully coated.
Place the green beans into the air fryer basket. Ideally, you want them to be in a single layer. This will vary depending on the size of your air fryer. If they aren’t in a single layer it would be a good idea to toss them a few extra times during the cooking process.
How Long To Air Fry Green Beans in the Ninja Foodi
The entire cooking process only takes about 8-10 minutes. Close the lid, set the cooking time to 10 minutes, and press start.
At the halfway point, open the air fryer and toss the green beans. Use silicone tongs and not metal to avoid scratching the air fryer basket.
Then close the lid to allow the air fryer to finish cooking the green beans.
At ten minutes the air-fried green beans are finished. They will be nice and firm but not dried out. I like our air fryer green beans to have a bit of a crunch to them.
If you feel your green beans need more time you can give it another 2-3 minutes.
Easy Ninja Foodi Green Beans
The end result is a delicious side dish that goes with just about anything.
The best thing about this easy recipe is that you can have a healthy side dish in a matter of minutes, which allows for more time spent cooking the main dish.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-5 days.
