This almond milk banana smoothie is so easy to make. Almond milk smoothies make great breakfast smoothies because they are quick and healthy, with no unnecessary ingredients. 

If you are in a rush and looking for something simple to take with you on the go then this banana smoothie with almond milk is perfect.

This banana almond milk smoothie recipe is a great way to enjoy something healthy with minimal ingredients. It is one of my favorite breakfast smoothie recipes.

An almond milk and banana smoothie may be as easy as they come when it comes to healthy smoothies. Plus you can be as flexible as you’d like when it comes to the ingredients. 

Almond Milk Banana Smoothie Ingredients 

To make this delicious recipe you will need just a few very simple ingredients and a high-powered blender. 

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 Tbsp pure vanilla extract 
  • 2 Tbsp raw cacao powder
  • 1 whole banana

One great thing about this banana almond milk smoothie is that you can truly make it your own. When it comes to the banana, you can use either a frozen banana or a fresh banana. Using fresh ripe bananas will require a few ice cubes, whereas frozen bananas will require less ice.

When it comes to almond milk, I prefer plain unsweetened almond milk, but you can use unsweetened vanilla almond milk or even any non-dairy milk of your choice. Cashew milk is an easy swapย for almond milk. This is my favorite almond milk.

How to Make a Smoothie with Almond Milk and Banana 

First, add the almond milk to the blender.

Then add the banana, vanilla extract, and a handful of ice to the blender. If you freeze banana slices in advance you shouldn’t need any additional ice.

Blend for approximately 30 seconds or until smooth. Pour the almond milk with banana smoothie into a tall glass.

Grab a straw and enjoy this great smoothie right away.
