Poaching eggs no. matter what method you use comes down to the cooking time. A matter of seconds can make a big difference, keep in mind this may take a little practice to get it just right.

Microwave Egg Poacher Time

I don’t always remember to puncture the egg so 30-second intervals allow me (and you) to keep an eye on the cooking process. The cooking time for poaching eggs in the microwave will vary depending on each microwave. For example, in my microwave 1:30 results in soft whites, and creamy yolks. Whereas 2 minutes will cook the yolks all the way through to resemble that of hard-boiled eggs. You may find that your eggs are perfectly cooked within 45-60 seconds so you will have to play with the cook time for your poached eggs.

Once the eggs are ready carefully remove the microwave egg poacher from the microwave, and remove the cover.
