How to Cook a Ribeye Steak in the Ninja Foodi

If you are cooking a frozen steak, make sure to let it thaw and come to room temperature by the time you intend to cook it.

First, preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees F for 3-5 minutes.

Next, remove the ribeye from the package. Sprinkle both sides with sea salt or your favorite steak seasoning.

Then spray the air fryer basket with a little avocado oil spray. This is to help prevent any sticking.

Close the air fryer lid, and select the air crisp function. Make sure the temperature is set to 375 degrees.

The cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of the ribeye, and the level of doneness that you prefer. For this Ninja air fryer ribeye steak, I am setting the time for 10 minutes. This steak is approximately an inch thick to give you an idea. Thinner steaks will cook faster, whereas thicker cuts of meat will require extra time.

At the halfway point of the cook time, (5 minutes) use a pair of silicone tongs and flip the steak over. You want to use silicone to avoid scratching the air fryer basket.

Check the internal temperature of the meat, using a meat thermometer at the thickest part.

I always remove the steak from the air fryer when the internal temperature is around 130 degrees. If you wait until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees, your steak will be well done with little to no pink inside.

When the steak is cooked to your personal preference of doneness remove it from the Ninja Foodi and let it rest before cutting.
